Bruce is a licensed attorney, and has been a member of the VHLFA for a decade. He brings his interest in medicine and science, and skills as an instructor, to his position as Director of Medical Education. He has extensive experience on non-profit boards, ranging from the Skating Club of San Francisco, to his Condominium Association, to Recording for the Blind & Dyslexic and the Hyman & Marjorie Weinberg Foundation. He hopes to use these skills and experiences to help the Board accomplish its mission statement of supporting patients and health care providers, and is excited at the promise of using the new Tissue bank to aid researchers in finding more effective treatments, and perhaps a cure, in the near future. He wishes to thank VHLFA and its membership for allowing him to contribute. |
