Supporting VHLFA through iGive

IGive is a charitable service for non profits.  When you shop on the Internet with iGive, participating merchants will give a small portion of the purchase price to VHLFA.

Directions:

1. In the yellow portion in the middle of the page under the title "Step 1." is a “Keyword Search” box.  Enter “VHL” as the keyword and click “Find causes.” 

2. Two names appear to the right. One is "CancerResearchFund/VHL." The other is "VHL Family Alliance."  Click on either one of these names, then click on “Select this Cause.”

 

3. On the next page enter your email address and a password and click “register” at the bottom of the page.

 

Now, when you surf the net, IGive will keep track of you and show when you are purchasing from a participating merchant.  You can shop and surf normally. A small percentage of your purchases will go to the VHL Family Alliance.

Note: If yours popup blocker is enabled, IGive will not notify you when you are at a supported merchant, but you still will be giving to VHL.  To disable popup blocker for iGive and allow iGive to tell you when you are on one of their sites.

• With IE Explorer, choose Tools/Popup Blocker Settings and add www.igive.com to the list of allowed sites.

• In Firefox, choose Tools/Options/Content to the right of "Block Pop-up Windows", click "Exceptions" and add
  www.igive.com to the list of allowed sites.
