Iron Star Triathlon Sunday, October 24th, 2004, 7:30 AM, Conroe, Texas The 2nd Annual Iron Star Triathlon is the only half Iron Distance triathlon in southeast Texas. The 1.2 mile swim in Lake Conroe, the 59 mile bike in scenic Montgomery County, and the 13.1 mile run took place at the Del Lago Resort on Lake Conroe.
