We invite physicians from all the Nordic countries to participate in the Nordic workshop in April 2005.

The following issues will be covered:

- Sharing of experiences from the different countries
- Idea for joint Nordic clinical trials and joint patient surveys
- Creation of a Nordic coordination/steering group

We are honoured to be able also to present lectures by three highly esteemed Von Hippel Lindau experts:

• Patrick Maxwell has carried out research in the changes in renal cancer tissue at Oxford University.
• Stephane Richard has been primus motor in creating and organisation of the French VHL programs.
• Sally Watts has together with a small group of physicians created the VHL clinic at Guy’s Hospital. At the clinic VHL patients get all their control carried out, receive the result and a plan for the future all at the same day.

The program will start at 11 am and finish at 6 pm

The symposium is sponsored by the Danish patients’ organization. Admission fee: DKK 150 (approximately $27 USD or €20 Euros) to be pay to the “Foreningen af Von Hippel-Lindau patienter”.

We want to build a strong Nordic organization in preparation for the 10th International Symposium on Von Hippel-Lindau Disease (VHL), to be held in Copenhagen in 2008. Please join us.
