A Regional Meeting of the VHL Family Alliance will be held Sunday, October 23, 9am - 4 pm. Registration includes lunch.

 

The meeting will be held at the Holiday Inn, 8120 Wisconsin Avenue, Bethesda, Maryland, northwest of Washington, D.C.

 

Presenters will include:

Tom Rath, author of the best-selling book "How Full is Your Bucket?

 

Dr. Steven K. Libutti, National Cancer Institute, talking about his study of cysts and tumors of VHL in the pancreas -- when to observe, and when to act.

 

Dr. Emily Chew, National Eye Institute, talking about her studies of using drugs to control the growth of eye tumors in VHL.

 

Dr. Hartmut P. H. Neumann, Albert-Ludwigs University, Freiburg, Germany. Dr. Neumann is one of the leading experts on pheochromocytoma in the world.

 

The program will include time to share ideas and experiences among ourselves and with members in the Virginia/Maryland/Washington area.
