Funding for Research

We are delighted to announce the receipt of two grants for Research.

PeopleSoft Corporation, software developers, have contributed $5,000 for research. Renée Rosado, chair of Fundraising for Research, was instrumental in applying for this grant.

The Murray Foundation, responding to our article in the June newsletter, has contributed $10,000 to create a permanent home for the Research Database.

Dr. Diana Griffith reports that Dr. Zbar’s team has passed to her a quantity of purified normal VHL protein, which she is now in the process of crystallizing.

Many thanks to PeopleSoft, to the Murray Foundation, and to all of you for making these efforts possible. We look forward to working with you to raise money for this year’s exciting Research Grant Award, to be announced in December.
