Annual Report
Fiscal year ended June 30, 2003
We are now reaching more than 14,000 people in 72 countries. We continue
to find more people with VHL in US, Canada, and the U.K., and are beginning
to expand in Spanish-speaking services both in the U.S. and throughout
Central and South America.
While we continued to distribute thousands of VHL Handbooks and other
materials both on paper and from our website, general operating expenses
were down 6% over the prior fiscal year. Program expenses were down mostly
due to our shift from 2-day annual meetings to 1-day regional meetings,
in an effort to make it possible for more people to attend meetings at
lower expense.
This year, thanks to you, we awarded $90,000 in research grants, bringing
the total to $661,000 over the last seven years.
Let’s do it again!
Expenditures on Management and Fundraising rose modestly from 8% to
14% as we gear up for growth. We are strengthening our core services so
that we can build our capacity to manage further growth and exciting new
projects.

Total revenue for fiscal 2003 (ended
June 30, 2003) was $234,344.
Of this, $90,000 was allocated to research funding. |
