VHL Family Alliance Set to Celebrate 15 Years in Orlando, Florida

Boston, Mass., May 26, 2008 – The VHL Family Alliance (VHLFA) is turning 15! As the wraps up its May is VHL Annual Awareness Month campaign, members, the Board of Directors, staff and the medical community begin looking forward with excitement and anticipation to a celebration and annual meeting scheduled for June 28, 2008 in Orlando, Florida.

Slated to be held at the Courtyard by Marriott Lake Buena Vista, the Annual Meeting will have presentations by researchers, members, addresses by staff of the VHLFA and an opportunity for friends and families to connect and share their experiences and some good times.  The Annual Meeting will be capped off by a celebration dinner which will be an opportunity for attendees to enjoy a great meal, good times and celebrate the successes over the past 15 years while looking to the future of the Alliance!

On Sunday June 29, the VHLFA Board of Directors will meet in Orlando to discuss issues of importance to the Alliance as well as begin to consider a long range strategic plan for the perpetuation and growth of research efforts, education and member services.
