New Monographs

A number of article pointers are included in the References section of the VHL Handbook. The online version has links to the PubMed entries, which in turn link to the actual articles. PMID's are included in the print version.

* Dr. Hartmut Neumann won a prize in 1999 for Preventive Medicine, awarded by the Insurance Companies of Germany, for his work in improving outcomes for people with VHL.  The original Prize-winning German monograph, with color plates and charts, is available for $30 USD from the VHL Family Alliance, or 50 DM from the author in Germany.  The English translation of the text is available here free over the internet.

* Dr. Frederik Hes of the Netherlands completed his Ph.D. in 2000, writing his doctoral thesis on VHL.  Click here to read this document online.
