Grants for Investigation of von Hippel-Lindau Disease

 

The VHL Family Alliance is announcing a call for proposals to compete for grants for innovative basic and clinical research relevant to the cause, pathogenesis or treatment of von Hippel-Lindau disease.  Awards will be made up to $40,000 and for a period of one year.  A second year of funding will be considered with re-application and demonstration of significant progress during the initial funding period.  Applications are by invitation. 

 

Please provide a brief (1-2 page) summary of the research plan to Dr James Gnarra (research at vhl.org) on or before March 13, 2009.  Application Deadline for Year 2009 awards is April 10, 2009.  Awards will begin July 1, 2009, and terminate June 30 of 2010.  Information and application materials can be obtained here.  For further information, contact Dr. James Gnarra at research at vhl.org.
