Dr. Allan Pantuck of the Department of Urology at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) presents his research on the effects of the polyphenols in pomegranate juice.

Early data on the use of pomegranate polyphenols in men with prostate cancer served to significantly elongate the doubling of their PSA levels. His team is engaged in testing these effects with other kinds of tumors including colon, breast, and kidney.

VHLFA is in discussion with this team to determine the feasibility of a clinical trial of pomegranate juice and VHL.
